Under India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, complaints go to our Grievance Officer:
Tenali Prem, email nexushubcodebased@gmail.com.
- We acknowledge every complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.
- Complaints about content that shows someone in a sexual act or partial or full nudity, or impersonates them, including morphed images, are acted on within 24 hours.
- Requests about your personal data (see access, correction, erasure and the others below) are answered within 30 days.
How to make a complaint
Email the Grievance Officer with:
- your name and the email address of your Buildfolk account, if you have one;
- what the complaint is about, and the link or a screenshot of the content, if it is about content;
- what you would like us to do.
To report a post, comment, message, project or member, the fastest way is the Report option next to it on the site. The person you report is never told who reported them.
Requests about your personal data
You can download your data, correct it or delete your account yourself in Account → Your data. You can also email us to:
- get a summary of your data and who we shared it with;
- correct, complete or update it;
- erase it, unless we must keep it by law (see the Privacy Policy);
- withdraw consent (for members under 18, the parent or guardian can do this from the link in their confirmation email);
- name someone who can use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
We may ask you to confirm it is really you before acting on a request.
